| ![]() Rev. Michael and Diana Clayton The Rome Alliance Church has just called a new Senior Pastor. They will be with us the first week in May, 2004. Here's some information about Pastor Mike and his wife Diana: Ministry Objectives My desire is to lead and serve a group of people who wish to grow spiritually as they endeavor to lead as many others as possible to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I believe I have been gifted to serve the Lord in pastoral ministry as a preacher and a leader. Ministry Experience I have served our Lord Jesus Christ through His local church for twenty-four years within the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Most of those years have been in the Northeastern District. Currently, we are into our eighth year at the Niagara Falls Alliance Church. Ministry Philosophy Churches function at the highest level of effectiveness when goals have been shared and developed, and the ministry is directed by a leadership team of God-gifted and divinely chosen pastors and laity. The pastor, lay leadership, and congregation must purposefully cultivate their gifts and ministry skills in order to enhance the function of the body. By establishing goals and strategies for individual spiritual growth and numerical growth in the local church, the leadership team can guide the members of the congregation in worshipping God, in encouraging and serving one another, and in reaching out in a meaningful way to the world. Personal Data I was born July 13, 1951 in Morgantown WV. Diana and I have been married for 29 years. We have one son, Joshua, who is 24 and married to Jen. They are students at Crown College in Minnesota. Ministry Highlights
